What We Are Looking For:
Within this UK based role, you will execute a sales strategy to acquire and on-board new Institutional customers. This role partners closely with many departments across the firm, thus cross-company engagement and cooperation is critical. The candidate will be a high-impact individual, driving best-in-class sales results. This role will have a strong focus on lead generation and pipeline creation, along with prospect nurturing, lead prioritization, and closing. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven approach, along with a focus on building Institutional business relationships and continually improving sales performance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Identify, prospect, lead, and win new business with Institutional clients primarily in the Hedge Fund, Family Office, and Broker Dealer space in the UK.
- Create forecasts and develop qualified sales leads that ultimately result in revenue.
- Develop sales plans, proposals and presentations to win new business.
- Understand the competitive landscape and conduct UK market research in coordination with the marketing team.
- Lead discovery efforts to uncover prospect pain points and tailor solutions to meet prospect needs.
- Provide demos of TradeStation’s platform and products in person, remotely and at industry events.
- Bring a consultative and solutions-oriented mindset to every conversation.
- Accountable for maintaining accurate data and operating within established frameworks.
- Guide clients through the intricacies of account setup, funding, and set up in partnership with the client experience teams.
- Uphold and enhance TradeStation's sterling reputation through unwavering professionalism, courtesy, and a steadfast commitment to compliance and surpassing client expectations.
Skills and Training:
- An intrinsic, self-motivated sales professional with excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience of selling to UK financial institutions.
- Superb interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, pipeline management, and documentation skills.
- Possession of profound problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, enabling you to articulate complex concepts.
- A strong understanding of customer account procedures, positioning you to provide expert assistance with client inquiries.
- In-depth knowledge of various institutional trading platforms and the competition in our industry.
- An innate ability to excel and thrive in the demanding, interactive, and fast-paced work environment that characterizes our industry.
- Prior client-facing experience in sales and account management covering financial institutions (Family Offices, Hedge Funds, Broker Dealers etc.).
- In-depth understanding of US financial markets and asset classes (Equities, Options, Futures).
- Hands-on experience in managing the full sales cycle.
- Previous experience with a US-based online brokerage firm a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree required in relevant field (Finance, Business, Computer Science).
- 7+ years of Institutional financial services sales and/or trading experience.
