Halr Tech Group is representing a leading consultancy client in their search for a Technology Consultant to join their growing platforms and transformation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in delivering innovative technology solutions across major financial services institutions.
As a Technology Consultant, you will contribute to high-impact programmes of work, working closely with senior stakeholders to solve complex technology challenges. You will be supported by experienced professionals and exposed to a wide variety of strategic and delivery-focused projects, helping to align business and technology goals across banking, insurance, and fintech domains.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and delivery of technology transformation programmes across domains such as Payments, Digital Channels, Core Banking, and Technology-Enabled Change.
- Participate in strategic planning and delivery execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with business priorities.
- Collaborate directly with financial services clients to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
- Conduct analysis of complex processes and support the development of target operating models.
- Document and prioritise business requirements (epics and user stories), alongside supporting artefacts such as business cases, customer journeys, and process flows.
- Act as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Prepare and analyse test documentation and assist with defect triage and test coordination.
- Contribute to proposal development and identify new client opportunities in the technology consulting space.
- Support account teams in maintaining and growing client relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and enhance delivery capability.
- Participate in the development of thought leadership and internal best practices.
- Work with colleagues across consulting disciplines to deliver integrated solutions that meet broad client needs.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on technology transformation, digital delivery, or IT advisory projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to business audiences.
- Understanding of agile delivery methods and familiarity with full project lifecycles.
- Experience with technology platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Finacle, Temenos, nCino, or similar enterprise solutions.
- Background in financial services (banking, insurance, wealth & asset management).
- Exposure to top-tier consulting environments.
- Interest in technology strategy, digital trends, and emerging innovation across the financial sector.
- Relevant certifications such as Agile, Scrum, or cloud platform accreditations (e.g. AWS, Azure).
