Senior Architect

Are you an experienced architect with a passion for design and a strong track record in leading projects through RIBA Stages 1–3? This medium-sized studio in Central London is looking for a talented Senior Architect to join their collaborative team and take ownership of exciting residential and later living projects.

This is a client-facing role where you\’ll combine creativity with leadership, guiding a team and shaping projects from concept to planning. The practice values design excellence, innovation, and a supportive work culture. They can also offer a clear pathway for career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through RIBA Stages 1–3, ensuring design quality and compliance
• Act as the main client contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations
• Oversee and mentor a team of architects and assistants
• Contribute to concept design and planning strategies for residential and later living schemes
• Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

Skills & Experience:

• ARB-registered architect with proven experience in early-stage design and planning
• 6-8 years post Part III experience
• Strong knowledge of the London and UK residential market
• Later living experience is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Revit is essential
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• The right to live and work in the UK
