Policy Analyst (Based in Dubai) You will support the senior policy team in the delivery of innovative policies and programs that respond to our client’s challenges and aspirations. You will need to be credible, confident, proactive, intelligent, analytical, and ambitious—you will be taking on a key role in the growth of our client’s Policy Practice. You will work closely with the Head of Policy and the wider Policy Practice team, and with employees across a number of other practices. The role will include: • Leading the delivery of qualitative and quantitative research and analysis • Supporting policy ideation, development, and execution. • Supporting the integration of policy development with strategy development, creative ideation, communications projects, and other practice areas. • Building and nurturing relationships with key client stakeholders. • Working closely with employees across a number of other practices to ensure the integrity of integrated campaigns for our clients. • Collaborating with the Head of Policy to help build and develop the Policy Practice, including iterating the Policy offering and business plan (go-to-market strategy). Required background experience: • Ideally, 3-4 years experience in management consulting for the public sector • Or, a government consulting background. • Or a background in risk consultancy • Experience in working in teams to deliver complex strategy and policy projects. Required Skills: • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; outstanding analytical, research, and presentation skills. • Adept at leveraging strategic frameworks such as SWOT and PESTEL analyses to analyze an entity’s internal capabilities and its external environment. • Ability to perform in-depth qualitative analysis by connecting various pieces of information, identifying patterns, and forming a clear chain of logic to present a compelling story. • Strong writing skills—narrative, appealing, succinct. Should be able to convey complex research ideas simply through your writing. • Ability to follow brand/design guidelines and prepare easy-to-digest, visually appealing professional PowerPoint presentations and Word documents using strong writing and visual storytelling skills. • Ability to create and validate hypotheses. • Ability to create clear research briefs to guide strategic input from team members or third-party experts. • Highly competent at executing research projects and delivering findings in a clear and actionable format. • Ability to present work with skill and confidence. • Ability to set clear strategic objectives for clients based on findings of analysis. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
