We are looking to add to our Dimensional Team working on a long term prestigious fabrication project. As part of the Dimensional Control Team, you will be responsible for surveying large steel structures using Laser Trackers, Metrology Arms, Total Stations, etc., and processing, evaluating & reporting the data in Spatial Analyser.
Reporting into the Dimensional Coordinator & Senior Surveyor, main responsibilities of the role are:
- Interpret data within spatial analyzer as part of the Wilton Engineering Dimensional Control Work Instruction.
- Carrying out Shop floor surveys using appropriate survey equipment in line with the Dimensional Control Work Instruction including start up checks and self calibration.
- Communicating with relevant stakeholders both Wilton Engineering and Client with regards to dimensional control.
Role Requirements:
- Preferred experience with using Laser trackers; however, use with Total stations or other survey equipment will be considered (training with Laser trackers can be provided).
- Preferred experience with Spatial Analyser software; however, use with other survey software will be considered (training with Spatial Analyser can be provided).
- Experience in fabrication/heavy industry.
- Experience in interpreting fabrication drawings and models.
