Are you a skilled Technical Project Manager with a background in engineering and a passion for new product development? My client, a leading Software and manufacturing company based in Gloucester, requires a Project Manager to join their team.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers on multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include forward planning, resource allocation, and risk management. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to refine project requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that uphold their esteemed reputation.
Key responsibilities:- Oversee and support development of Embedded Software for a range of Products
- Contribute to product road mapping and identify opportunities for new product development.
- Manage new product development processes, ensuring smooth procurement and manufacturing activities.
- Create comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, datasheets, and working instructions.
- Development of Embedded Software (C)
- A good understanding of electronic test methods and fault finding
- Knowledgeable in RTOS
- Knowledgeable in a range of microcontrollers such as Microchip PIC, ATMega.
- Skilled in microprocessor peripheral driver development, preferably for serial communications i.e. UART, I2C, SPI.
- A solid understanding of hardware systems, system testing and legacy and current systems.
- Proven experience managing technical projects, particularly in new product development across engineering disciplines (software, electronic)
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams with a positive can-do attitude
- Contribute to meaningful projects that make a real-world impact.
