The role Working closely with the Director of Customer Acquisition, as SEO manager you will be in charge of implementing a best-in-class SEO strategy across technical & content. You’ll be leading & managing a team of freelancers to craft an SEO strategy across multiple geographies (US, UK, France, Spain, Germany). In this role, you’ll work to craft our content strategy, identify technical SEO best practices and implement them across our website. You’ll be up to date with the latest SEO news & updates, particularly in regards to SGE. You’ll monitor our organic performance and be on top of all our data.

What excites you:

  • Own content & technical SEO strategies
  • Own organic performance and acquisition - you’ll know if there’s a problem or if our rankings are slipping in any content category before anyone else
  • Manage a team of content Freelancers & Collaborate with our in-house website team to deliver impactful changes
  • Conduct keyword research to guide content strategy in all core geo’s
  • Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
  • Work with social media and PPC teams to optimise campaigns
  • Liaise with CRO teams to collaboratively deliver impactful CRO experiments and deliver results
  • Be a master of new SEO strategies and keep up to date with market trends including SGE

Salary range: £64000 - £96000 Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
