Insight Investment is looking for a Contracts Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the business integration programme can meet its commitments and that there are no 3rd party supplier service disruptions or contractual breaches. The preliminary analysis of contracts has been completed but strategy for each contract still needs to be defined and approved. The candidate will be responsible for managing the contract transitions according to the project plan and act as a point of contact for all stakeholders. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will be required to provide a weekly report to the Head of Department and the programme steering committee.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyse contracts to understand products/services/licenses provided
- Manage relevant activities for each contract to meet business integration programme milestones
- Ensure Insight receives best value for money and associated cost saving and that no unnecessary costs are incurred
- Ensure SLAs are in place with our suppliers of key high value projects through internal governance and controls to completion
- Manage record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation
- Provide both internal and external contract-related issue resolution
- Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
- Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
- Liaise with legal and other SMEs for the negotiation of agreements when required
Experience Required
- Progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
- Market Data and Technology experience
- Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Strong contract modelling software skills
- Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project
- Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
- Analytical mind-set - leave no stone unturned
- Confident team player who takes ownership and leads by example
