We now have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Development professional to drive business case development, risk approval and operational readiness for new business initiatives.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- You will work with colleagues to develop comprehensive business cases, ensuring these cases are robust and well-documented to secure necessary approvals for new commercial initiatives.
- Produce high-quality presentations, discussion papers, and other materials to effectively communicate strategic objectives, market opportunities, and potential benefits to stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders across our business to guide new business ideas and proposals from conception through to delivery and operational readiness. You will monitor progress, address any challenges, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and operational requirements.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Experience in a commercial, strategy or consultancy role which includes experience in developing business strategy, business cases, and/or developing cross-functional capabilities.
- Experience of, or exposure to, commercial trading within a Utility, Energy Company, Trading House or Financial Institution.
