Who We Are: In capital markets, buy-side and sell-side professionals strive to achieve automation across multiple asset classes by building strong and secure connections to Bloomberg. Our Enterprise Technology team is responsible for ensuring the implementation, stability, and reliability of the connection network which supports virtually all Bloomberg Enterprise products. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to manage the production support and integration oversight of Electronic Trading systems within Enterprise Technology. This pivotal role ensures the stability, performance and front office alignment of trading platforms across multiple asset classes, including Fixed income, FX and Equities.

What’s the role?

As a Team Leader for Production Support in Electronic Trading Technology, you will be leading and mentoring a team delivering real-time production support for enterprise electronic trading platforms. Additionally, you will serve as the senior escalation point for trading incidents and integration-related issues as well as build and maintain strong partnerships with trading desks, internal technology groups, operations teams, and external vendors. Typical engagements include ensuring platform stability and swift resolution of production issues as well as overseeing platform health and monitoring through proactively addressing technical and functional risks. You will collaborate with Engineering, Incident Management, and Product teams to establish robust alerting and monitoring tools as well as supporting integration points across internal systems (e.g., market data, pricing, risk, & post-trade) to ensure seamless trade flows.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Guide the team in managing FIX connectivity with clients, brokers, and trading venues.
  • Diagnose and resolve FIX session issues, order flow disruptions, and trade discrepancies in real time.
  • Partner with infrastructure and connectivity teams to optimize trading system performance.
  • Deliver high touch, real-time support to traders, electronic execution teams, and sales personnel.
  • Act as a key contact for client and counterparty support during onboarding, integration, and trading activity.
  • Communicate clearly across business and technical teams, especially during high impact incidents including updates to external stakeholders.
  • Oversee end-to-end technical and functional support for integrations between trading platforms and internal/external systems.
  • Work closely with developmental and onboarding teams to support new client setups, data feeds, and workflow automation.

You’ll need to have:

  • Proven experience in electronic trading technology with a strong background in production support leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise trading platforms and workflows across asset classes (Fixed Income, FX, Equities).
  • Strong understanding of FIX protocol, connectivity, and real-time trade flow troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with operational risk frameworks, incident management best practices, and governance models.
  • Establish strong production governance, including monitoring, incident handling, and change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain structured runbooks and procedures for incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with operational SLAs and evolving resilience regulations (e.g., DORA).
  • Partner with risk and compliance to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

We’d love to see:

  • Experience with complex systems integrations involving market data, pricing engines, risk systems, and post-trade processing.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities including mentoring, performance oversight, and team development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMPM & CFA) are a plus.
