The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

You will play a key role within Trading by undertaking the development, negotiation and approval of non-standard transactions in Energy and Environmental Certificate Markets and ensuring delivery through the deal life-cycle.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Crafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing sometimes complex contracts including energy master trade agreements, green certificate transactions and market access arrangements;
  • Managing transactions throughout the contract lifecycle, including KYC and transaction approvals;
  • Undertaking contract negotiations, including engaging with counterparties and other stakeholders to discuss and finalize contract terms;
  • Ensure terms, conditions, and provisions of contracts comply with company policies and standards and requirements;
  • Keep detailed records of contract negotiations and agreements;
  • Work with various departments to ensure contract requirements are understood and met.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Demonstrable experience of complex commercial and operational negotiations, including regular interaction with senior leaders;
  • Experience of energy industry process and operations that support the management of contracts with GTMA, EFET, and Renewables counterparties.
