Construction News is the leading publication for construction, a sector accounting for 7% of the UK’s economic output. Our audience consists of the people and firms delivering billions of pounds worth of building and civil engineering schemes on behalf of government departments, property developers and housebuilders. But our readers face major challenges: from making a profit and keeping workers safe, implementing post-Grenfell regulations and drastically reducing carbon emissions.

We are a critical friend to industry, delivering high quality reporting on and for the sector via breaking news, comment, analysis, in-depth features and investigations across our website and monthly print magazine.

Recent stories include the scandal of dangerous RAAC concrete in schools; the cancellation of the second phase of HS2 and a major investigation into mental health issues caused by late payments to subcontractors.

CN has a proud history stretching back more than 150 years. In addition to our written journalism, we also produce podcasts, run agenda-setting conferences and events plus online webinars and round tables.
