Senior Manager: Financial Control & Analysis

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Financial Analyst based in Glasgow .

This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based .

We\’re working with a company that manages the railway infrastructure in Great Britain, overseeing its maintenance and development.

This role is for a Financial Analyst—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You\’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.

You\’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Leading and directing the finance and corporate governance processes.
Overseeing all financial accounting, analysis, and reporting activities.
Leading the business planning process through strong business partnering and influencing stakeholders.

We\’re looking for people who can show:

Background with relevant accounting institution (i.e., ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
Risk management and governance procedures (incl. operating under Managing Public Money rules).
Commercial acumen, with an understanding of investment regulations.
OPEX experience preferred rather than banking.
