Our client, a well-respected private medical clinic with sites all over London, is looking for a problem-solving, organised full-time Operations Manager for a 9-month contract with the possibility to extend. There is a team of 25 to manage and support. This role requires someone who can balance attention to detail with strategic thinking, ensuring all operational aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Ideally, applicants should have at least 5 years of previous Practice Manager experience within medical or clinic settings and understand the requirements of running a multi-site business. Whilst the role is primarily based in South West London, there will be visits to the practice’s other clinics around London on an occasional basis.
This Operations Manager must be able to work with staff across all levels while maintaining effective oversight of clinical, clerical, and financial matters. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to delegate tasks efficiently. Care Quality Commission protocol & HRM experience, alongside proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office suite, is essential.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling staff / cover rota’s
- Daily staff management
- Weekly meetings and liaising with the other London sites
- Track conversion stats / reviews management
- Costing schedules / implementation / working to targets
- Invoicing & working with bookkeeping/accounts
- Handling customer service / complaints
- Weekly reporting to key stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive details of company protocols and procedures and ensure compliance is adhered to
- Ensure information is readily accessible to key stakeholders / Director
- Facilities management, including safety / emergency equipment checks
Based: Office based (SW London + site visits to other London clinics)
Hours: 8.30-5.30
Contract: 9-10 month maternity cover contract
