Success Recruit are currently working with a leading supplier based in Hadleigh, Suffolk & Essex providing a high-end service to the Construction Industry. The Company is in search of a dynamic & skilled Marketing Events Specialist to join their growing and fast-paced team. NB Travel is required between Witham, Essex & Hadleigh, Suffolk so please consider this when applying for travel and journey times.

The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Marketing Team; They will manage & execute all exhibitions, customer-facing events, and sales support activities.

The successful Marketing Event / Exhibition Specialist expectations:

  • Ideally have 3 years’ experience in organising exhibitions, trade shows, or corporate events from start to finish
  • Strong project management skills accompanied with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • A flare for detail and creativity working alongside the design team
  • Driving license & car is essential

Job Specification

Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Event & Exhibition Specialist will be a key member within the Marketing team, focusing on enhancing brand visibility, engaging with customers, and supporting the sales team with marketing collateral & promotional materials for all exhibitions / trade shows.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will enjoy taking a proactive & creative approach to problem-solving and planning. They will also require knowledge of event logistics, supplier management, and budget control.

Duties to include but not limited to…

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing all exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events
  • Managing event logistics, including venue selection, stand design, setup, and breakdown
  • Organising & overseeing customer-facing events to strengthen client relationships
  • Providing marketing support to the sales team, including the design & distribution of point-of-sale materials, promotional items, and marketing collateral
  • Working within budgetary constraints
  • Liaising with customers, external vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Ensuring all events align with company brand guidelines and messaging
  • Measuring the success of events through feedback & performance metrics to optimise future initiatives

Hours: Monday - Friday (flexible hours between 7:00am - 7:00pm) 8 hour working day

Salary: £30 - £35k per annum (DOE)
