Turner Property Recruitment are working with a leading consultancy in the built environment to recruit an experienced and motivated Associate Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-caliber individual to contribute to exciting projects while advancing their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing expert services in building design, project management, and contract procurement, working closely with clients and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-caliber services for contract procurement and monitoring
- Achieve business development and profit growth targets
- Ensure the business objectives of delivering value for money are met
- Efficiently carry out duties in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Comply with environmental, health, safety, security, and quality standards
- Support the team in managing projects, working closely with clients, and developing new business opportunities
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related technical discipline
- MRICS or membership in a relevant professional body
- Strong technical delivery experience in Building Surveying, including project management, design, costing, and contract administration
- Experience in the retail and commercial sectors is highly desirable
- Familiarity with mobile data capture platforms is a plus
- Strong understanding of elemental life costing and JCT Contracts
- Excellent specification writing and stakeholder management skills
- Previous consultancy experience is preferred
- Client-focused and a positive collaborator who shares knowledge freely
- Demonstrates a proactive and positive approach to work, with a commitment to delivering customer service excellence
