We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our client, carrying out health surveillance and screening on sites across the UK. This role is open to experienced Occupational Health Technicians; however, training can also be provided for those with transferrable skills e.g. Sport & Exercise Science degree. This role involves frequent multiple overnight stays in the working week as you will cover different sites across the UK.
Occupational Health Technician duties (full training available):
- Health surveillance
- Audiometry
- Spirometry
- Skin assessments
- Drug & alcohol testing
- Urinalysis
- Health promotion
- Driving a mobile screening van
Transferrable skills for e.g. Sport & Exercise Science degree or relevant experience working as an Occupational Health Technician:
- Experience of carrying out baseline measurements (height, weight, BMI, blood pressure etc)
- Flexibility to travel across the UK essential
- It is essential you are flexible to stay away from home in hotels during the working week (this can frequently be staying away Monday-Thursday)
- Clean manual UK driving license essential
