Day to Day: Working with a public sector contractor. We are looking for an experienced Commercial professional, a Quantity Surveyor to work within a projects team, delivering various planned and reactive work streams in the South West. Previous experience of working in construction or maintenance is essential, someone studying Quantity Surveying or experienced would be considered.

  • Understanding around responsive repairs delivery and schedule of rates (SoRs)
  • Dealing with high volume jobs
  • Issuing purchase order numbers
  • Checking subcontractor claims
  • Measuring using SoR's and invoicing

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  • Previous construction/commercial admin experience
  • Experience of planned and reactive contracts
  • Sector related qualifications, although experience is more important
  • Excellent general admin experience using Microsoft office programmes, particularly Excel
