Are you immediately available and looking to gain some further experience in Lab Based Research? We are currently seeking a Laboratory/ Research Technician to join a research institute on a temporary basis to support with an upcoming Research Project. The institute is based in South London (closest railway station is Belmont, SM2).
Role Overview
- Temporary, Full Time (37.5 per week, Mon-Fri).
- Start Date 24/02/25, expected to last 4-6 months.
- Β£14-17ph DOE.
- Practical Laboratory work to support the multi-disciplinary research team to establish a cell culture model with human cells.
- Utilise techniques including Mammalian Cell Culture, PAGE, and Western Blotting.
- Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements
- A Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific subject.
- Practical Research Laboratory Experience, particularly Molecular Biology Techniques.
- Demonstrable experience with Mammalian Cell Culture, Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) and Western Blotting specifically, is highly beneficial.
- Must be available to begin 24th February for 4-6 months.
