Crime Regulatory Solicitor – Solicitor Advocate/Barrister – Sussex

Are you a confident advocate with a passion for court work? We’re looking for Solicitor Advocates or Barristers to join a leading Regulatory team advising across the health, public, and corporate sectors.

The Role:

• Advocacy-focused – Regular court appearances, often daily, but home based aside from court visits.
• Representing police forces in civil protective order applications (DVPOs, SPOs, SHPOs, SROs, ASB injunctions, and closure orders).
• Managing a high-volume caseload.
• Drafting applications, preparing cases, and handling urgent advice requests.
• Engaging with clients, police officers, and legal professionals.

Who You Are:

• Strong advocacy skills – confident in Magistrates’ Court (Crown Court experience a bonus).
• Excellent case management and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy team.
• Proficient in time recording and meeting chargeable targets.
