About the job: We seek a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data and AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of our financial services clients. As an Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data and Gen AI workflows that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drive business success. Your role involves interacting with clients, Business Analysts, and Engineers, analyzing and validating business requirements, and translating them into detailed data and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies, notably Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.
  • Architect, develop, and implement complex software solutions leveraging data and GenAI capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the financial services industry to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.

About you:

  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 2 years' work experience delivering technology projects within financial institutions or enterprise firms.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challenges.
  • You are a fast learner, comfortable iterating quickly in uncertain environments.
  • You have strong product intuition and an understanding of product management practices.
  • You have experience writing data transformation and application code, particularly in Python.

Great to have:

  • Experience or interest working with Palantir platforms.
  • Experience with Spark and big data technologies.
  • Active experimentation with LLMs and LangChain.
  • Good working knowledge of Agile software delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services and/or Insurance industry.
