A leading investment bank is improving the data model underpinning their derivatives business and has an opportunity for a senior data modeller to play a key role in work seen as foundational to future applications of artificial intelligence. This is a business-owned role and as such requires an individual with a background in product-aligned front office roles, for example, quantitative analytics or business-owned project resources, who can work to define a data model for the derivatives business that can be integrated with data architectures leveraging cloud and data mesh technologies.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
- 10+ years’ experience within front office aligned data analytics, modelling and technology initiatives
- 5+ years’ experience in data modelling aligned to financial products, in particular OTC derivatives
- Strong understanding of contemporary data and systems architecture, in particular data mesh
- Extensive traded products experience across multiple asset classes
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
This is a £750-850/day PAYE role (net of employers contributions) based in London initially for six months. Hybrid working.
