Make an Impact at RSM UK Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue. At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. We are looking for an Associate Director, located either in London, Bristol, Reading, Guildford, Stoke, Chester, Leeds, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Preston, Liverpool or Manchester, who will be responsible for working on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting and business advisory assignments and will lead on technically challenging projects.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Working on technically challenging projects, which include the practical application of accounting standards under FRS102, IFRS and FRS101, group reconstructions and accounting considerations, conversion to different GAAPs, technical accounting papers and acquisition accounting support.
- Contributing to growing the business, playing an active role on proposals, supporting Partners, participating in the firm’s industry and channels growth and networking.
- Coaching and developing junior staff and developing a skill set in business development.
- Taking the lead on delivering complex accountancy related projects for clients as they arise, e.g. IFRS transition consultancy work.
What we are looking for:

- ACA qualified or equivalent.
- UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting experience.
- Experience of working in a professional practice in an equivalent accounting advisory team or experience providing written accounting advice to clients.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience of supervision and coaching of junior staff.
- Experience of Microsoft Office, with high competency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
