Creative Minds Nurseries are seeking a dedicated Qualified Early Years Room Leader to join our fantastic and long-standing team at our exceptional, well-established Montessori nursery in the heart of West Ealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the baby room team in planning and implementing activities that nurture development, aligned with the Montessori philosophy.
- Monitor, observe, and assess the developmental progress of babies aged 6 months to 2 years, ensuring their individual needs are met with care and sensitivity.
- Create and maintain a calm, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes secure attachments and early learning experiences.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with parents and caregivers through daily communication and regular updates.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the room, including delegation of responsibilities, staff support, and upholding high standards of care and hygiene.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (required).
- Experience working with babies in a nursery setting (previous Montessori experience is preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience: Childcare Practitioner, Preschool Teacher, Nursery Nurse, Daycare Assistant, EY worker etc.
