Workplace description: Set in a fabulous location with beautiful private gardens and magnificent views, the atmosphere of the hotel is warm, friendly and welcoming with thoughtful service to make you feel truly at home.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To maintain Food & Beverage standards of performance across the department according to Company SOP Manual
- To ensure the department is adequately staffed in line with business levels.
- To ensure that our guests are served efficiently with quality food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere and receive the highest possible standard of care
- To maintain effective communication with the Kitchen and other F and B departments
- To maximise revenue generated through selling techniques and good control procedures
- To assist with and monitor departmental training and coaching
Applicants must be able to work any five days out of seven on a rota basis, so flexibility is required. You will also be required to carry out duties in other areas of the hotel (housekeeping/reception) during staff absences/holidays.
Essential criteria: Candidates will ideally have supervisory experience within a good quality restaurant and be looking to develop a career in hotel management. This role represents an excellent platform to progress and really learn the business for the right candidate.
