Our client is an established consulting firm with ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with experience working in a management accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills to gain more exposure within a diverse finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with completion of month-end processes, including preparing accrual and prepayment journals, and reconciling income and WIP.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, taking ownership of specific cost lines to provide variance analysis.
- Provide monthly commentary and present financial results to business area leaders.
- Analyse and report on key business performance drivers to identify trends and opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
- Good knowledge of current accounting and reporting standards
- At least 2 years’ experience in a management accounts position or similar role
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with Oracle fusion or a similar ERP system is highly desirable
