We are looking for a Deputy General Manager at our restaurant site. Applying for this role is straightforward. Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.

Salary: Starting from £38k (£30k base + £8k min. commitment tronc)

Benefits: Bonus, discounts across hundreds of brands, 24/7 GP access, EAP, access to stock price wine, and more.

Experience: The Waverley typically hosts our more demanding guests with high expectations and budgets to match. An appropriate candidate would be someone who has prior experience working in a high-quality restaurant setting where they can demonstrate their experience working with similar clientele. All our venues are steak and cocktail focused, so having an understanding of both would be ideal.

We are also looking for people that understand quality over quantity. We are not venues who cater to high volumes week in, week out, like other establishments, and look to smash through 100+ covers every day. Our focus is on giving all our guests the premium experience so that every visit feels special, whether popping in for a quick lunch or choosing to dine with us for that special occasion.

For this reason, it is important any applicants have a background of working with seasonal, fresh food, where the emphasis is on quality rather than speed of service. It's important applicants understand there will be times where business is quiet and if they are naturally more suited to a busy, continuous service, with streams of guests being churned in and out, then we are not the right fit. However, if you have applicants who want to work for a business that values each individual team member, invests in their development, and encourages a healthy work-life balance above all else, then we are the right fit for them.
