A 500 acre all grass extensive grazing operation with 400 crossbred cows, flying herd and milked via a 24 x 48 parlour, is looking for a suitably qualified assistant herdsperson. Duties will include assisting the hands-on farm manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations to include milkings, general stockwork and some yard tractor work. Farm experience, to include milkings, would be required for this role. A 3-bedroom house, just off farm, or a one-bedroom flat, is available depending on requirement.
