Head Of Project Controls

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Head of Project Controls to be engaged on a permanent basis. Candidates will ideally be based in Bristol and hybrid working will be supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement PMO frameworks, governance, and best practices
• Oversee portfolio and program management, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Lead project controls, risk management, and reporting functions
• Support resource planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in project delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior PMO leadership role
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk, and controls
• Experience with project management tools (P6, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Relevant qualifications (APM, PMP, MSP, or equivalent)

Qualifications:

• Experience leading teams of multi-disciplined controls professionals. Demonstrable experience of improving Controls delivery.
• SC security cleared or clearable.
