This vibrant West End practice has a rich history dating back four decades. They have an excellent reputation in the market for dealing with high-quality work with an esteemed client base. You will find an interesting and diverse client base that is made up of affluent HNW individuals, OMB, SMEs, and some well-known brands.

The firm has recently been involved in several high-profile pieces of litigation, working on the other side of large City and US practices. You will find the firm has a strong International presence with many of its clients having overseas interests; they are also part of a global network of independent law firms. This alliance provides the firm with a constant flow of interesting work.

The firm stands at 90 members of staff. They are a dynamic practice that doesn’t have the corporate red tape and bureaucracy of larger firms, and as such they can act quickly on spotting trends and opportunities. You will find that the firm can reward and progress staff based more on merit than competencies.

The firm has a track record of developing and nurturing its legal talent, as such they have a growing number of "homegrown partners". The firm is well run and has a strong and diverse leadership team. The firm is lean and profitable and has excellent finances. The partnership has exciting plans to organically grow in certain areas over the next 24 months. This includes succession planning; they are seeking the next generation of partners and leaders in the firm, and as such on offer is a springboard for ambitious candidates to progress.

This includes Senior Associates seeking a route to partnership and salaried partners seeking a route to equity at a profitable, well-run firm with a solid reputation for quality within the market. The firm is adept and agile, they have excellent systems fully embracing modern technology. The firm has been a progressive pioneer since they were founded when it comes to technology.

You will find a lovely culture running throughout the practice. There is a nice social aspect, and the firm has a very low and unheard-of staff retention rate which is a testament to how every member of the team is valued. The firm has embraced flexible and agile working for years, well before it was even a common buzzword.

The role involves working alongside a highly regarded Corporate Partner. You will work with the Partner to drive the department forwards, and you will also have a lot of autonomy to make the role your own. The department is currently thriving with an abundance of interesting and good quality work coming through the door.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in strategic conversations and planning regarding the future direction of the department. You will deal with a diverse and broad caseload, which will make for an interesting role. You will act for national and international entrepreneurs, directors, and members as well as limited companies, LLPs, PLCs, and multinational corporations.

The caseload will include but not be limited to: M&A, joint ventures, commercial contracts, fundraising, investment, shareholder agreements, and licensing agreements. This role comes with excellent prospects which include both partnership and even equity for the right candidate.

Requirement: You will be a Corporate Commercial with at least six years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience). You should have strong technical experience. Good business development experience is of advantage. First-class communication skills are essential. Salary is competitive depending on your background, on offer is also an excellent benefits package.
