I am seeking a proactive and driven Personal Tax Assistant Manager to take ownership of the personal tax compliance cycle while building lasting client relationships across my client's diverse portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships, and LLPs. This isn’t just about compliance - you’ll be providing strategic tax advice that genuinely impacts their clients’ lives, particularly within the fascinating world of landed estates and rural businesses.

Location: Bristol Office, BS8

Salary: Up to £47,000!

What You’ll Own

  • Portfolio Management Excellence:
  • Manage your own diverse client portfolio with full autonomy
  • Deliver comprehensive personal tax compliance services from start to finish
  • Provide tailored advisory services including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax strategies, and international tax guidance
  • Specialise in land-based tax issues and rural business complexities
  • Leadership & Development:
    • Review and guide junior tax staff in their professional development

    The Individual - Essential Experience:

    • CTA qualified (or equivalent professional qualification)
    • Proven management experience with portfolio responsibility
    • Strong background in personal tax compliance delivery and management
    • Experience providing tailored tax advice across multiple disciplines
    • Professional services background with client-facing expertise
