This is a great job for someone who has good asset management industry knowledge combined with experience of dealing with GFI/Wealth clients and operational processes.

A bit about the job:

Within this role, the successful individual will be responsible for the day-to-day managing, servicing, and development of relationships with a defined group of third-party managers/marketers, strategic partners, and complex wealth clients across a range of different asset classes, products, and regions inclusive of Southern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. You will report to the Client Relationship Management – Global Wealth and work closely with Distribution channel heads to ensure the efficient management of these partnerships and clients. You will play a key role in coordinating and hosting formal client meetings and due diligence visits, providing updates on fund and market performance with Investment Director/Portfolio manager support as appropriate. In addition to this, you will also own and coordinate the prompt resolution of client issues, including reporting, performance, technical fund, and fee billing queries. You will also take ownership of the distributor and client onboarding process for pooled products (including the coordination and completion of legal agreements) and work in partnership with the Client Onboarding team for segregated mandates and complex structures, liaising with internal and external parties as appropriate.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven ability to take ownership of and provide professional judgement of complex client queries and achieve successful resolution by influencing colleagues and third parties.
  • A strong collaborator able to build effective relationships with different business areas across Aviva Investors.
  • Practical awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and distributor oversight.
  • Motivated to deliver first-class relationship management/client service, balancing the needs of the client with those of Aviva Investors.
  • Relevant degree – or equivalent experience and IMC or equivalent regulatory qualification required.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • Eligibility for annual performance bonus.
  • Family-friendly parental and carer’s leave.
  • Generous holiday entitlement plus bank holidays with the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days.
  • Up to 40% discount for Aviva products.
  • Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars.
  • Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme.
  • 21 volunteering hours per year.

In this role, you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.

Aviva is for everyone: We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part-time and job shares. We flex locations, hours, and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working – spending around 50% of their time in our offices every week - combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.

We interview every disabled applicant who meets the minimum criteria for the job. Once you’ve applied, please send us an email stating that you have a disclosed disability, and we’ll interview you.
