Finatal is supporting a PE-backed software business, seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Business Partner to support the Head of FP&A in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, ensuring robust financial models and analysis.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business, providing strategic insights and financial guidance to drive performance.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and proactive risk/opportunity management.
  • Support the Head of FP&A in delivering high-quality financial insights, board reporting, and investor updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analytics to enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable business strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in a commercial finance role.
  • Experience working in a high-growth PE backed business of scale.
  • Strong financial planning & analysis (FP&A) experience, ideally within a private equity-backed or high-growth software environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, translating complex financial information into strategic insights.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and KPI monitoring.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for driving business performance.
