We aim to support and help others overcome the stigma associated with mental health issues by offering practical face-to-face support. Additionally, we provide support and assistance to those bereaved by suicide. Our mission is grounded in empathy and a commitment to mental wellness.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Volunteer Treasurer located on-site in Worcester or can be remote; it is an advantage if you are close to the Worcester area. The Volunteer Treasurer will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and monitoring expenditures. The role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting fundraising efforts. The individual will also collaborate with the board to develop financial strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work on-site in Worcester or remote
• Experience with non-profit organizations is a plus
• Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
