Join us as a CASS Operations Analyst at NatWest Cushon. Our mission is to help as many people as possible to get comfortable with their finances, and our vision is to bring tech revolution to the financial services industry. We’re looking for someone to operate our client money and client assets processes effectively, so we can maintain regulatory adherence and improve our controls.
You’ll be actively participating in initiatives, varying from continuous improvement to audit engagement. You’ll engage with CASS specialists in the NatWest Group to provide oversight of activity, enabling the expansion of your knowledge and network.
What you’ll do:
- Operate key processes in relation to CASS, as well as broader client money and assets requirements, and own associated procedure documents.
- Progress remediation actions to close known process gaps and report on key metrics to demonstrate progress, including on audit findings.
- Keep accurate records of day-to-day operations, logging incidents and breaches, and identifying trends.
- Review manual or ineffective processes which could be automated or enhanced.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
- Identify barriers to performance and coordinate improvements to enhance our efficiency.
- Act as a point of liaison to internal specialists and external auditors.
- Consider how to build organisational knowledge of CASS requirements.
- Represent your processes to other teams in Cushon and across the bank.
The skills you’ll need:
- Prior experience of working in a CASS client money or asset operational function within financial services.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Experience of risk management and issue prioritisation.
- The ability to convey information in a simple and understandable way, to varying stakeholders.
- A can-do attitude.
- Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
