Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Data Architect role.
Role Location: Dublin, Ireland (Onsite - 5 days/month)

Job Description:
- Solid experience as Data Architect with Informatica, Teradata, Alteryx.
- Strong experience and understanding of the technology stack with a particular focus on Databases, SQL, ETL tools, etc.
- Commercial experience in enterprise IT projects in data architecture.
- Experience in Financial Institutions working directly with end users.
- Leading teams, with the desire and capability to do so.
- Demonstrable evidence/track record of building a system that made it into production.
- Keen to find someone who has worked with end users directly and built a system/made substantial changes with practical experience of succeeding in a Financial Institution/Highly regulated environment.
- Leadership/Influencing/Management skills with both on-shore and near-shore teams, along with the ability to succeed in a matrix organization.
- Senior mindset who can devise and formulate strategies, yet sufficiently detail-oriented to coach and brainstorm with developers.
- Practical Agile experience - achieved outcomes, rather than just followed methodology.
- Work closely with Finance Leadership, Peer Delivery teams, Cross Bank Functions; strive to maintain, improve and drive the Finance Data Quality & Remediation Strategy.
- Work closely with your team (5-10 FTE) based in Ireland & abroad, facilitating a collaborative environment that enables continuous, predictable, high-quality output.
- Collaborate with peer functions in the Bank, particularly the Group Data Office, to ensure the Finance DQ&R strategy aligns with the wider group goals.
- Oversee, maintain, and drive the underlying plan ensuring optimum level of transparency for stakeholders.
