We are seeking a proactive Senior Finance Assistant to support the Director of Finance in the day-to-day financial operations of our independent school. This new role involves assisting with financial processes, supporting projects and ensuring the smooth running of financial administration in the department.
The school is looking to implement new finance software in 2025/2026 and as such, a key part of this role is to provide support to the Director of Finance to prepare the accounts for transition as well as implementation and setup of the new system. In addition, the Senior Finance Assistant will support the Director of Finance with the reviewing of processes and finance documentation and help put new procedures in place. This role will provide some day-to-day support to the team and cover tasks as required.
Experience with Sage 200 or Accounts IQ (iFinance) would be an advantage. Early applications are warmly encouraged. Applications will be considered as they are received and candidates may be invited for interview at any stage.
