Pensions Operations Specialist Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) is a division within M&G Life with a remit to design and deliver bulk purchase annuities and alternative de-risking products for Defined Benefit pension schemes. Due to ongoing success and a strong opportunity, the team is adding headcount in a number of areas.
The Pensions Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of new propositions developed with CRS. This includes due diligence to understand the quantum of risks being accepted, implementation activities, and reporting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to come and join M&G to deliver on our purpose to give everyone real confidence to put their money to work. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative thinkers and hands-on individuals from any subject matter background, with a desire to learn and who have a genuine interest in financial services.
We are focused on developing you professionally, as well as building your technical skills, through real, value-add work. We will support you with professional qualifications, including study support.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of new propositions operating models
- Act as a key point of contact for all operational queries associated with new business transactions
- Delivery of the operational model
- Provide technical guidance to the team on matters such as GMP equalisation, franking etc.
- Responsible for setting and managing the operational clauses of Insurance transactions
- Provide regular communications and updates to both internal and external stakeholders of the latest roadmap, changes and updates
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation and the seeking out and acting on new opportunities
- Carry out due diligence on new business transactions to allow PAC to decide on the appropriate risk premium for non-financial risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
