Are you immediately available to start an FTC? This role will be for 3 months cover, covering HR project support to the HR Manager to help deliver projects to deadline and to help support and build a strong culture within HR within a fantastic organisation. This HR Project Officer role is a 3 Month FTC - Start date 7th April or as near to as possible.
Some HR Project Officer responsibilities include:
- To build a fully comprehensive working establishment list.
- To work with the HR Manager and administer all aspects of Job evaluation, grouping roles into job families, ensuring JDs are up to date.
- Build a succession plan matrix.
- Ensure sickness records are up to date and maintained in Sage HR.
- To work with the HR Manager on producing standard operating procedures for all aspects within HR; On and off boarding, appraisal cycle, payroll.
- To work with the HR Manager on producing a training plan with materials for new or existing managers.
- To work with the HR Manager to have proper reporting metrics so that HR can advise SLT on trends, succession, absence and areas of excellence and those in need of development.
- Ensure that professionalism and confidentiality is always maintained.
- Carry out any other reasonable task as required, HR administration as required, and work in a flexible way to always provide cover for the department.
- Write SOP for Payroll and troubleshooting guide.
- Ensure users of Sage Payroll are trained and familiar with the system.
- Pension administration including auto enrolment pension scheme.
- Prepare regular reports based on staff costs and staff numbers as required.
- Ensure payroll and pension inductions for new staff are suitable.
