Civils, Highways and Drainage Contracts Manager, permanent role for a successful busy contractor based in the North West area. This is an exciting new role for our client who is a National Highways approved contractor and works across various highways areas on civils and drainage generally as a subcontractor. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager and is a crucial role within the business.
The Role:
- Manage existing contracts for National Highways and other clients
- Manage the teams on site and work closely with main contractors
- Overall responsibility for projects, budgets and health & safety
- Chair management and progress meetings
- Some travel required across the North due to the nature of contracts around the highways area network
- Work will be from home, from the office, from site and from National Highways offices at various times
The Candidate
- Extensive experience with National Highways contracts
- Extensive experience within civils and drainage
- Strong background in Contracts Management
- Excellent knowledge of contracts, commercial awareness, ability to manage a large and moving workload
- Willingness to travel where required
