Inclusion at the BFI aims to move towards a more focused, sustainable, deep-rooted and authentic version of Diversity and Inclusion work in the film industry. The 3 key practices are:
- Community Building: build dynamic, intersectional spaces of understanding for persistently marginalised communities.
- Access Enabling and Knowledge Sharing: utilise the BFI brand to support, legitimise and amplify the work of grassroots and community organisations and their beneficiaries.
- Consultancy and Advocacy: use our research, expertise and reputation to advocate for this work being undertaken in the right way by other organisations, agencies and businesses across the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full and confidential administrative, secretarial and personal assistance to the Director of Inclusion.
- Provide key project assistance on the implementation of selected strategic priorities and activities that meet the Inclusion strategy.
- Undertake financial administration, including placing orders, managing and processing expenses, travel costs, invoices and purchase orders.
- Full coordination, agenda preparation and minute-taking for internal and external in-person and virtual meetings.
Person Specifications:
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity, including inbox and diary management and minute taking.
- Experience of handling tight deadlines and last-minute changes under pressure, adapting quickly and problem-solving independently.
- Experience of devising new ways of working to improve work efficiency and productivity.
The closing date for this position is 15/04/2025 at 23:59. Shortlisting Task will be sent on Friday 25 April 2025. First interviews will be held on Wednesday 07 May and Thursday 08 May 2025. Second interviews will be held w/c Monday 12 May 2025.
