A Day in the Life of a CPN:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and make a real difference in the lives of individuals within a specialist Eating Disorder service. Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations
- Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans
- Medication management and participation in duty rotas
- Carrying a caseload and providing continuity of care
- Overseeing students and supporting their learning and development
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, dietitians, and consultants
- Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
- Essential: Experience working within an Eating Disorder service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality mental health & nursing care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This full-time role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The contract is for 3 months ongoing, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
