If so, we invite you to join our dedicated team at Edinburgh Napier University.

As the Grant Holder you will have the opportunity to be the main liaison between our internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth implementation, and compliance with COST financial rules. Financially, the Grant Manager oversees the utilisation of allocated funds by meticulously verifying each expenditure's compliance with COST's financial protocols, giving you the remit to play a critical role in monitoring budgetary allocations, processing payments promptly, and maintaining records to facilitate audit readiness.

On the administrative front, the Grant Manager orchestrates logistical arrangements for Action events, including issuing invitations and coordinating with local organisers. The role will allow you to use your high degree of attention to detail and accuracy to meticulously maintain attendance records, ensuring that all participants sign in daily, as well as diligently archiving meeting minutes and other relevant documentation.

What we will need from you:

  • Knowledge of COST Association
  • Experience in financial reporting
  • Experience providing strategic guidance on fund management from a grant perspective
  • Experience in event management and strong administrative skills

Additional Information

  • Salary: £37,174 (pro rata)
  • Contract: Fixed term (7.5 months), Part time (9 hours per week)
