We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Tenancy Management Officer, on a 6-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £15.79 - £19.72 per Hour

Summary: The Tenancy Management Officer plays a key role in delivering end-to-end tenancy services from the point of letting a property through to the lifetime of the tenancy. This role is vital in promoting tenancy sustainability, managing tenancy risks, ensuring compliance with tenancy obligations, and supporting residents in collaboration with partner agencies. You will manage a patch of tenancies and work proactively to maintain successful tenancies and prevent homelessness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patch of tenancies across multiple tenancy types.
  • Carry out ongoing risk assessments and implement tailored solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to support residents.
  • Encourage tenant engagement and provide advice on rights and responsibilities.
  • Respond effectively to tenancy issues, breaches, and statutory requests.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and case notes.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ, Diploma, relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE English & Maths (Grades AC) or equivalent.

Experience required:

  • Experience delivering tenancy management services in social housing.
  • Risk assessment and tenancy sustainment expertise.
  • Working with vulnerable individuals and multi-agency collaboration.
  • Managing statutory and contractual tenancy requests.

Essential Criteria:

  • Ability to attend meetings and visits outside normal hours.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at short notice. You should have the right to work in the U.K. This role requires an Enhanced DBS.
