The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and documenting the design and implementation of technology within specific work package components, in line with defined technical frameworks and choices. This role also includes the physical systems configuration and implementation where appropriate. What will I be doing? Design and Development: Create and implement BI, Analytics, and Engineering technology components aligned with technical solutions. Collaboration: Work with engineering and business resources to ensure high-standard end-to-end infrastructure design. Preparation and Embedding: Embed technical frameworks into the data team, including key design decisions and recommendations. Research and Enhancement: Stay updated with data technology solutions and propose enhancements to keep the technology relevant. Ownership and Validation: Ensure designed components meet project requirements and assist with design proposals for strategic alignment. Governance and Improvement: Actively participate in design reviews and technical meetings, driving improvements in current processes and practices. What do I need? Education & Certifications: Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science) and industry credentials (e.g., Microsoft, Databricks). Technical Skills: Proficient with Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, AWS, Google Cloud, and data management services. Operational Experience: Skilled in engineering, agile, and devops environments; familiar with Git, Jira, and GDPR compliance. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal and influencing abilities. Leadership & Problem-Solving: High integrity, clear-thinking, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Quality Focus: Detail-oriented, commercially focused, and passionate about using data to drive success.
