Inspired Education is the leading global group of premium schools, with a portfolio of 118 premium private schools in 27 countries spanning 6 continents. The Group is experiencing 20% per annum growth through acquisition, greenfield site expansion, and the development of existing schools within its portfolio.

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Construction & real estate category procurement management of capital projects, including all construction projects, new-builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with global project teams, external contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Align with and deliver the procurement strategy across all projects, generating value in cost, programme, and quality.
  • Manage the procurement of various school-wide contracts, providing the best value for money by negotiating and influencing pricing to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
  • Review and monitor performance, implementing improvements where necessary, ensuring that all supply chain partners are deployed consistently, efficiently, and economically, in line with their contractual requirements.
  • Lead or support procurement workshops, lessons learned sessions, and development plans where necessary.
  • Ensure material requirements are always met, managing scheduling and logistics, and liaising with project teams to ensure successful and profitable outcomes on all projects.
  • Provide professional procurement advice and consultation on competitive tendering, supplier evaluation and selection, and contract management and monitoring.
  • Conduct financial due diligence to support procurement decisions, ensuring that all suppliers meet minimum performance requirements.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to benchmark externally, ensuring Inspired practices and strategies are aligned with current market practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in construction & real estate procurement and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship skills.
  • Commercially astute, including data analysis.
  • Pro-active, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
  • High I.T. proficiency.
