ROLE SUMMARY: Construction & real estate category procurement management of capital projects, including all construction projects, new-builds, refurbishments, and fit-outs. Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with global project teams, external contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Align with and deliver the procurement strategy across all projects, generating value in cost, programme, and quality. Manage the procurement of various school-wide contracts, providing the best value for money by negotiating and influencing pricing to achieve the best commercial outcomes. Review and monitor performance, implementing improvements where necessary, and ensuring that all supply chain partners are deployed consistently, efficiently, and economically, in line with their contractual requirements. Lead or support procurement workshops, lessons learned sessions, and development plans where necessary. Ensure material requirements are always met, managing scheduling and logistics, and liaising with project teams to ensure successful and profitable outcomes on all projects. Provide professional procurement advice and consultation on competitive tendering, supplier evaluation and selection, and contract management and monitoring. Conduct financial due diligence to support procurement decisions, ensuring that all suppliers meet minimum performance requirements. Work closely with the Commercial team to benchmark externally, ensuring Inspired practices and strategies are aligned with current market practices. REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in construction & real estate procurement and supply chain management. Knowledge of construction contracts. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship skills. Commercially astute, including data analysis. Pro-active, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to take ownership, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
