We are seeking an experienced Principal Pipeline Engineer to lead pipeline engineering efforts across various project phases, from front-end design and detailed engineering to construction and commissioning. Key Responsibilities- Lead pipeline engineering activities, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with project budgets and deadlines.
- Ensure all designs adhere to company procedures through rigorous review and approval processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise engineering solutions.
- Prepare estimates and schedules for pipeline engineering projects.
- Maintain a strong focus on Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Environmental responsibilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and client standards.
- Monitor project progress against schedules (SPI) and track hours spent versus earned value (CPI).
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Communicate performance insights, policies, and improvement recommendations to the Engineering Manager.
- Set objectives for the team and support their professional development.
- Extensive experience in pipeline engineering, with a strong background in Concept/Pre-FEED for onshore and offshore projects.
- A degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or at least 10 years of relevant experience in pipeline engineering.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
