We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Lead Consultant to drive data migration, governance, and strategy within an SAP S/4HANA implementation focused on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP data management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and ideally MRO-specific master data, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement data migration, cleansing, and governance frameworks for the SAP S/4HANA program.
- Data Migration: Lead the end-to-end data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) process from legacy ERP systems to S/4HANA.
- MRO Data Expertise: Ensure accurate migration of MRO-related master data (Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Spare Parts, etc.).
- Data Mapping & Validation: Collaborate with business teams and functional consultants to define data mappings, validation rules, and transformation logic.
- Cutover Planning: Develop a detailed data cutover strategy for a smooth go-live, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with IT, Business SMEs, and SAP consultants to align data-related activities with business objectives.
- Data Quality & Cleansing: Implement data quality checks to eliminate duplicates, inconsistencies, and obsolete records.
- SAP Tools & Technologies: Utilize SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), LSMW, LTMC, and BAPI/IDocs for data migration and governance.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure data migration complies with industry regulations (e.g., aviation, defense, manufacturing standards) and security policies.
Key Skills & Experience:
- SAP Data Lead Experience: 8+ years in SAP Data Management, Migration, or Governance roles.
- S/4HANA Implementation: Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA migration, data conversion, and cutover planning.
- SAP /MRO Industry Experience: Deep knowledge of MRO processes, asset management, and maintenance planning.
- Data Migration Expertise: Proficiency in ETL tools, data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
- SAP MRO Modules: Understanding of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), MM (Materials Management), and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP BODS, LSMW, LTMC, Data Hub, MDG, SQL, and ABAP debugging.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, business users, and leadership teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of aerospace, aviation, defense, or manufacturing regulations (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Certification (desirable)
- SAP EAM/PM Certification (preferred)
- Experience with SAP BW/BI, HANA Database, or cloud-based data solutions
