We are looking for a CAD Designer to join a client in the London area. The CAD Designer is needed to join the commercial team and work closely with the commercial director.

As a CAD Designer, with knowledge in the architectural metalwork, balustrades, balconies, canopies, and staircases sector, you will be making a move to a leading contractor promising growth and stability.

The CAD Designer:

  • Minimum 5 years’ design experience.
  • Relevant degree (i.e. Architecture; Structural Engineering).
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical documentation.
  • Assist in system design by providing accurate layouts and specifications for various projects.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and regulations.
  • Strong technical drawing skills in AutoCAD, Tekla.
  • Understanding of architectural / construction processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • 2D/3D drawing skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant Building Regulations.
