Your new job as a Non Marine Placing Broker will be working for a small specialist independent Lloyds insurance broker based in the heart of the City. Your new Brokers are independent experts for businesses with complex, non-standard and high-risk international insurance requirements. They offer tailored services to clients whether they need to secure a wide range of cover in multiple territories. Your new Brokers work as independent experts specialising in international insurance for over 25 years, and have extensive experience in supporting clients. Due to an expansion within their London office, a role for a Non-Marine Placing Broker has arisen.

Working as a Non-Marine placing Broker, you are responsible for providing excellent day-to-day service and placing a variety of Non Marine risks into the Lloyd's and company markets, building relationships with insurers and clients as well as acting as a point of referral. Placing a wide variety of risks throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East as well as other territories, your role will be to organise and manage cover for your Non Marine property, liability, CAR and other related risks. This role may include any production of risks and some international travel.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Your previous experience working as a Placing Broker placing International Non Marine Property and Liability risks, ideally gained from a small to medium Lloyd's Broker.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to attend external client meetings when required.
  • They are looking for someone that has the energy and appetite to develop and progress and who can work independently.
